SALFO in J/Vwith Faber Maunsell – DMJM Aviation was the Independent Engineer for the development of the new International Airports at Larnaca and Paphos in Cyprus. This was the first Concession Agreement that was signed in Cyprus in 2006.

Paphos and Larnaca Airports have been completed in 2008 and 2009 respectively and are now fully operational. The construction works were undertaken by Bouygues Batiment International, in collaboration with Egis Projects.

The Larnaca and Paphos terminal building areas cover 100.000m2 and 20.000m2 respectively, including 80 hectares of exterior developments and all related infrastructure works, parking areas, aprons and road connections with the motorway network.

The Phase 1 development that SALFO supervised was expected to increase the annual passenger capacity in both airports, from 5 million to 7,5 million passengers per annum.
