SALFO is providing design services to MODON (Saudi Industrial Property Authority) for the infrastructure works for the Modon Sukna Project in Jeddah 4 [JDH4] Industrial City, in Saudi Arabia.
Sukna Project, is strategically located 45 Km North-Northeast of the City of Jeddah, near the new King Abdulaziz University and close to the new King Abdullah Economic City.
The contract is part of MODON’s package of an overall programme of works to develop a true community to support the industrial city. The scope includes Master Planning Design, Buildings Design, Interior and Landscaping Design, services undertaken by “Cambridge 7 Associates”; Salfo Saudi is a sub-consultant for the Infrastructure design.
The Sukna Project comprises of an area of ~1,5 km2, in which 341 buildings will be built [with Total BUA ~845,000 sq.m] with land uses: residential, health, education, 2 mosques, athletic centers, retail and environmental friendly green public spaces. Also, SALFO designs an artificial “wadi” of ~2km length, 5 road bridges and all utility networks with total length of road network 14 km and utilities network of 21 km.
